| This is rather good  It ramps up the  horror a good deal more than the other Irish similar l king movie a while back. The fact that it is set in a regular subarban setting rather than a remote cabin in the woods/farmhouse makes it more effective due to its reliability. I am sure I spotted a continuity error or two though  |

I haven't watched this so just taking a wild guess  The mother is suffering from the onset of dementia (Alzheimer's disease)  Of course I could be wrong and she could be  possessed by the spirit of someone who once lived in the old family home she returned to that bears a terrifying secret |
