This was pretty watchable Once a start watching you keep watching kind of a movie The two hours just flew in Easy to watch and you don't have to concentrate too hard |
I always thought Ted was smarter than the average eco-warrior. Not sure how or if any Hollywood telling is accurate or just a load of BS. I did enjoy the film regardless. |
Only knew of the Unibomber by name and reputation til watching this movie. This movie is essentially a mockery of this real life arch villein. However when his central warning about increasing technological domination is narrated its sounds more relevant today than his late 20th century world. Were his concerns valid, even tho we condemn his actions? |
Yeah, the computers in the shop were Radio Shack 286 series with 10MB hard-drives but Ted was very prescient and could see where this was heading - the iCore series |
Do you condemn his actions, covidiot? You sure don't make it sound like you do. |
I wonder how many of the commentators have actually read Ted Kaczinsky's Manifest... |
Spoilers: Ted was correct. Never trust a MOVIE to be a DOCUMENTARY. As one screenplay "MasterClass" guy said, by definition a MOVIE is fiction, irrespective if "Based on a true story." If you just want FACTS, watch a documentary. No joke. Keep that in mind with this propaganda weapon. |
What propaganda? I just watched the entire movie and the was nothing PC/woke/politically biased about it. Just an accurate depiction of Ted K. Nothing propagandized about it when everything that was in his publicly published manifesto was accurately portrayed in the film. |
The propaganda part was depicting him as a batshit crazy dude extremely socially awkward with anger and violence issues - and in doing so by extension discredited his concerns and critique of where our world is headed. |
It's not what you think that impacts the world around you, but the way you act on your thoughts. That, dear covidiot, is why Kaczynski indeed was/is a "batshit crazy dude", as you so eloquently put it. |
Terrorism is always reprehensible, regardless of the motive, covidiot. |
