 | thx for the great torrent :) warning: this show may induce belly laughs. please remember to turn your head when spitting drinks (preferably towards someone near, for extra comedic points) and tissues handy in case of eye-watering and other accidents should someone become hysterical :D not a show to binge on for me, more like an episode a day as it can seem a bit whiny when binged but separated to one or two a day it seems to impact better. just my opinion. ricky is at his brilliant best with no barriers to his dark humour. reminds me of his big breakout when he was on the ali g show (the office and extras didn't really grab me, funny but didn't hook me, but his standup shows were excellent). i can only imagine how much fun the cast had making this and how many times they had to rehearse each scene just so they could keep a straight face for his quips. observational humour of a, for some, sensitive area is what he does so well. very few comedians could pull it off and ricky just has that talent. love it :) |
