a great torrent thx :) i dunno what to make of this one. it all starts like a middle=to=upper class persons' view of an apocalypse, with a plot we have already seen before. (a virus did it) starts in a theatre showing shakespeare and keeps the shakespeare going well into the future. not totally high brow at all. in the future we follow a troupe of shakespearean actors as they circle a lake visiting campsite after campsite, dealing with a cult based on a comic (that is not very good and a bit of a stretch of the imagination to think even children can take it as doctrine) and led by someone who is exactly what the cults beliefs are against, and meth heads, whom so many managed to survive the outbreak that killed billions. you cocaine, heroin and cannabis addicts all died. let THAT be a lesson to you :D it does have it's good points as once you manage to get past 5 episodes of plot holes and characters you would probably want dead too, it does get mildly interesting (it finally hooked me by end of episode 6 but only slightly). i'm now on episode 7 so i have only the good stuff left, so there :D |
I din't even finish episode 2 before saying oh hell not. I'm nowhere near desperate for content as to subject myself to something so poorly done. |
Boy, that first episode really pulls you in .... still binge watching. Caught a unmistakable voice in the series .... Lori Petty. She laid Keanu Reeves in "Point Break". S420 |
