Briefly about the group
The group was born in September 1974 under the name "Hydra", then they were called "Stato d'Allarme" and in 1975 left the current name. The original line-up consisted of Aldo Bergamini (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Massimo Di Lauro (violin, keys), Giampiero Marchiori (flute), Dino Fiore (bass ) and Paolo Ferrarotti (drums, vocals). The group performed a lot, first in the Vercelli area, then in other regions of Italy. For more than 15 years without having received a contract from sound recording companies, the team underwent minor line-up changes, but the core of the team remained unchanged, Bergamini, Fiore, Ferrarotti e Di Lauro.
To record their first album, the band had to live until the 90s. Il Castello Di Atlante was noticed by the record company Vinyl Magic, the album Sono io il signore delle terre a nord (1992), combining elements of the neo-progressive and symphonic traditions of the Italloprog of the 70s, was very warmly received by both critics and the audience.
In 1994 the band released two CDs, with recordings of collections of old material (Passo dopo passo) and new material from Ippogrifo. The next albums of the group were released at intervals of several years.
