if you read the description i did not encode them just shared them and they play fine my end |
Thanks very much for this. I have read all of the books. I do not suppose you have a higher quality version. 1080p or, is there a, 4k with multi-channel sound? Many thanks, great upload! |
Another example of 'steppiness' is after intro credits of episode3 [the panning starting at 15seconds in] The others seem more-or-less okay at a casual glance. Thanks for upload of the series. Maybe re-encoding [at higher bitrate &/or two-pass] of some/all episodes would be welcome? |
Perhaps skip episode 1 [pun cos it has jarring 'steppiness'] ? Episode 2 seems to be less skippy. Maybe a problem with the job queue and only some [1?] episode are almost unwatchable? Hope so! |
@kokimo what are you playing them with they play fine my end nothing wrong with them i checked them first before uploading them they have been upload to a few sites and your the only person to say this something is wrong your end bud |
Greeting, I downloaded this yesterday, when I went to watch later that evening - the video was distorted and shaky. To the point that it was distracting from being able to view. So I checked the other episodes and they were doing same thing. Please check your files! I'm looking forward to watching this series. |
I hadn't started watching this yet but then I read the comments and started the first episode. Slightly jerky in the river flyover but just fine running through the woods, playing through Plex on my RaspberryPi 4 with 4GB of RAM. I'm gonna get the other version on the site and compare. I've already uploaded 500GB of this one but I'm removing it from my seedbox now (need the space). |
I have to agree with Kokimo. They are almost unwatchably bad. I tried with VLC on XSX & then a couple of PCs and, finally, two of last year's TVs. Particularly jarring is the river overfly [40seconds in] but plenty of similar sequences. Think your compression settings are wrong [have seen this from Handbrake when no free CPU time or threads and input or output are choked - are your input and output devices the same? If so, maybe send output to slower device but make sure the larger file is coming from the fastest drive.] Might also be NVENC or overheating [throttling]m2 drive but would really like to know..? Thanks for the attempt. Maybe you have a particularly 'able' player or you can more easily tolerate the defects. Would love to watch this series. Please let me know if you fix the issue &/or can upload [higher quality] replacements. |
