@ Guest-2786 Just a guess but could mean Hearing Impaired And that would beg the question: what is the difference between 'hearing impaired' and regular subtitles |
rumble verb [ I ] US /ˈrʌm·bəl/ to make a continuous, low sound, or to move slowly while making such a sound: My stomach is rumbling. The trucks rumbled across the field. Oh dear, all the law suits for using a verb that is present in every single dictionary on the planet. Get a life! |
Both sets of these subtitles read 'font colour' along the way I don't what God-damned business that is or maybe the big screen out in the barn is playing up |
@ Sailor420 What on God's Green Earth is 'HI'? I sure as ain't see no difference between 'em subtitles Must be 'em God-damned critters out in the barn |
Hearing Impaired subtitles include descriptives for sounds other than speech, like (loud explosion), (soft, melancholy music playing), (engine rumbling), etc. |
@ Guest-2720 Yeah well, you used the word 'rumble' in your comment That means you now have to pay some bucks to Michael Buffer the copyright owner As will the other commenters (including me ) Check in the post |
@MikeRushUSA: I was thinking the same thing. There might be a lawsuit coming down the pike. |
I'm wondering if Michael Buffer was sought for the use of this title. In 1995 he trademarked a phrase used before competitions, such as wrestling, and has turned it into a $400 Million business. He's been known to be possessive about its use. This use may come close. https://secureyourtrademark.com/blog/trademarked-phrases-lets-get-ready-to-rumble/ |
