Brings order to your music library
Music is increasingly being archived digitally on the hard disk. Collectors are very annoyed if the collection is not "in order". Sometimes there are many thousands of music files stored on the hard disk. Tagman gets your collection in shape once and for all. The entire collection can be processed fully automatically in one go. But it is also possible to specify the pieces of music to be added individually.
Never again unknown and unnamed music files thanks to Fingerprint
Tagman looks for the so called ID3 tags that belong to a music file. These are metafiles that are read by a music player, for example. They remember the name of a song, who recorded it, the album it came from and the year it was written. If the ID3 tags are missing or incomplete, Tagman can research the relevant facts on the Internet and add them to the metadata. Even better: If a CD cover is missing, it can also be searched for and downloaded fully automatically on the Internet. In this way Tagman provides complete information about your own collection.
Rename music files yourself
Tagman is also able to rename the music files itself. For this purpose there are different schemes to choose from. For example, the user can specify that each music file already shows the artist and song name in the name. If desired, a folder structure can be created automatically, sorted by artist, album name or a combination of these.
