(from the author of the release)
Before Pretty Things went psychedelic in the late 60s, the band played Rhythm & Blues. The 34-track, two-disc compilation The Rhythm & Blues Years brings together works from that early era. It included the most famous hit from that era "Don't Bring Me Down", as well as several popular songs from "early" Pretty Things: "Honey, I Need", "Judgment Day", "The Moon Is Rising", "I'm Gonna Find Me Substitute", "13 Chester Street", "Oh Baby Doll", "Get a Buzz". All in all, this is a great one-stop collection for anyone interested in the band's harder music. In the future, music has become more "combed".
