Transform - Yoga Full Program

Embark on a transformative 28-Day series with featured Inner Dimension TV Teachers — Travis, Lauren, Brent, Christine, Brittany, Denise and Mychal. This series is for students who are looking for a challenge of 1-hour thematic power yoga classes, complimented with the healing benefits of yin yoga.

In this new signature Inner Dimension TV series you can expect to strengthen the seven transformative qualities of discipline, focus, patience, intuition, adaptability, joy, and empowerment. We look forward to seeing you on the mat — transformation of body and mind awaits!

Episode Overview:

Adaptive
An important part of transformation is being ok with changing course. And sometimes that means we need to slow down in order to cultivate true balance within. In this gentle and yin yoga combination class, Brittany will guide you through calming movements and relaxing stretches to help you absorb what you need for transformation and leave behind what no longer serves you. Through this balancing practice, invite yourself to be a little more adaptive so that rather than forcing change to happen, you simply allow transformation to unfold.

Discipline
In order to create positive lasting change we need discipline to transform. During this power yoga practice, Travis will guide you through a well balanced flow with an emphasis on the importance of discipline through the use of sequencing, stories, quotes and timeless wisdom. On our mat we can bring discipline to our breath, presence and alignment. With practice, discipline becomes natural and effortless and we eventually arrive at a place where our choices are in alignment with our highest and greatest good!

Empowerment
When we feel empowered in mind & body, we feel as if we are capable of achieving our highest dreams, goals and aspirations. This begins with our minds, which are supported through meditation. It is shaped in the lungs, which are supported by mindful breathing and ancient subtle body manipulation techniques. From there, it manifests in the physical form through asana. Though empowerment does not always look strong and bold, sometimes it is graceful or playful. There must be a balance, as there is in life, as well as in this practice. Join Mychal on this hour-long journey through the mind, breath and body. Let’s take flight!

Focus

Losing focus is easy. Getting it back can be the hard part! In this 60-minute power yoga class, Lauren will take you through a dynamic flow to help you strengthen the intention and skill of focus. Focus, like any muscle, needs to be strengthened, so in this flow you will move through balancing postures, breath work and creative sequencing to help you develop and master this important intention. Two blocks are suggested for this practice.

Intuition

When we tap into the voice of our inner teacher we are connected to intuition and the call of our deepest intentions. We develop a deep trust in our body, our abilities, and our breath. During this yin yoga practice Christine will guide you through a series of postures to draw your focus inwards, creating space to listen to the subtle callings of your soul. Using sequencing, quotes, stories, and wisdom, you will create space for stillness, a place where transformation can arise from the callings of your heart. Join Christine in this yin practice to open to the possibilities lying in the transformative power of intuition.

Joy
There will be times in your life when you are thriving – blissfully flowing with gratitude and abundance. There will also be moments when you feel as if you are coasting on reserve and running on fumes. This power yoga practice is here for you during whatever season you are currently experiencing. Denise’s unique teaching style will challenge your body and support your continued inner peace. Cultivate tools to create joy in your heart, regardless of what is happening in your life or amongst the collective surrounding you. Land with Denise in a safe space to take off your mask of perfection, breathe deeply, sweat unapologetically and flow to the rhythm of your heartbeat. Joy is a choice. Choose joy, today.

Patience

One of the keys to building strength, flexibility and overall integrity is patience. On our mats, as in life, we’re bound to struggle at times. The important thing is simply to keep trying. But rather than simply trying not to be impatient, this practice encourages you to build patience. Stay open to the present moment and cultivate curiosity about the exploration within the space of each breath. Have fun, and if you struggle with some of the movements… keep trying!

avatarYeah that class is tough, pretty advanced stuff and lots or reps. But Brent Laffoon a good, motivating teacher. You can always skip repetitions and/or modify, I sure do. And some of the other classes are much more gentle, it's a good mix.
