Howdy! I watched this today and wanted to offer up a few brief comments. This flick features some fine acting from a couple of old Hollywood veterans who can still act. As for the plot: Think 'deep-dive' into the characters' mostly poor and depressing life stories. It moves VERY slowly - with no action to speak of. If you don't mind a sentimental slow-burner with a quirky plot (featuring Wonder Woman as a retired singer in search of her estranged son) you might wanna take it for a spin. I'm rating it 6/10. It was a bit too slow for my taste, but don't listen to me. This is exactly the kind of offbeat film that wins an Oscar. Remember the movie about the lady who lived in the van? It's THAT kind of movie, more or less. Thanks, GalaxyRG. 🥂 |
@ jaxe It comely known that you can identify and gain more sympathy for "important" people if they come on your level. She made you feel yourself more important because she was on your level while she felt more good from all the sympathy so got from lower level people . So in short: She used you. ;) |
Guest-1456, Um, I don't think you know as much as you actually do. Carter has always been a real down to Earth person. That's why she didn't stay in Hollywerid too much. |
@ jaxe Considering your user avatar, I'll allow that comment As for your question, I'd guess they're made of silicone at this point. |
@jaxe: ... at 70-years-old, I highly doubt it ... sadly. At one time, those were the two best melons in the entire melon patch. |
I sat next to Ms. Carter on a flight from Denver to Los Angeles in the late 1980's. She is a down to earth woman who didn't let Hollywood Fame go to her head. She flew with us regular folks. Economy class. Continental Airlines. She could had been in first class or take a private plane but she didn't. |
