I made the mistake of watching this without much sleep, so my perspective might be a bit altered vs. normal.
First the torrent was great as always and "The Night House" is right up there at A/V=10....5 stars (above).
As far as the movie was concerned, was hoping for a great thriller, especially after seeing the ratings and reading the top review on IMDb, While it was called horror, mystery, thriller, I believe I must have watched another movie or something crazy, as I saw this as more as a supernatural fantasy(horror...and mystery ....ok!) as it's main genre, and then drama, with a slight bit of thrills ...ratings for thrills(2/10), and it was a bit slow for my taste, was hoping for more of a thriller tbh :)  It just didn't have enough of anything to make me let anyone know it was really worth a watch IMHO!  M=4.5 and think the IMDB ratings may be from the UK, or I'm shocked  a bit and was surprised to see it at 6.9/10 with 6-7k in ratings, yet it's a new release!!?  Excuse me in any case for being tired, and take the plunge if you must, but there is great content out three to enjoy that beats this by a longshot! ;)  My expectations should not have been to go in looking for a thriller, and know better than to believe the IMDb Top Reviewer :) Lol  Have a great week everyone! :_:):_:)
