Episode Overview:
Yin Yoga Dreamy
This class is oh so ‘dreamy!’ It is the perfect anecdote to the hustle and bustle of modern living. Like a treat awaiting you after a long day, prepare to get so relaxed you start drifting off into dreamland. Travis will softly guide you through Caterpillar, Reclined Tree, Reclined Butterfly, Half Happy Baby, and the super sweet Supported Bridge pose.
Yin Yoga Levity
When we carry tension in the body, stress in the mind, and the unfinished business of the heart, we become bogged down by the heaviness of life. In this 30-minute yin practice, Travis will invite you to find levity by letting go and letting be. As you move through Resting Belly, Sphinx, Seal, Saddle and Seated Diamond poses, you will find freedom from silence and simplicity.
Yin Yoga Moon
The energy of the moon is yin-like in nature. It is soft, cool, gentle and makes its grand appearance in the dark nighttime sky. Drawing inspiration from this lunar energy, we will wind down from a busy day, and prepare for a deep night’s rest. This 30-minute relaxing yin practice includes Melting Heart, Crescent Moon, Reclined Pigeon, and Wrap Leg Twist.
Yin Yoga Renew
There is a life force existing within us which knows how to renew our cells, tissues, organs, systems and entire body. When we eradicate the emotions and harmful chemistry of stress, the body begins to repair itself on a cellular level. In this yin practice, Travis guides you through a series including Side Bend, Seated Twist, Neck Stretch, Thread the Needle Shoulder and others to activate the energy of renewal.
Yin Yoga Serenity
In the Bhagavad Gita it states, “Meet this transient world with neither grasping nor fear, trust the unfolding of life, and you will attain true serenity.” The foundation of health is a serene and calm mind. In this 30-minute yin practice, Travis guides you through a series including Butterfly, Half Butterfly, Shoelace and Reclining Twist. Prepare to find serenity in your yin practice and sleep.
Yin Yoga Space
Although the body appears solid it is composed of 99% space. The nearest galaxy to ours is 2.4 million light years away. Space exists inside of us and all around us. An open spacious awareness is the opposite of living in survival mode. In this practice, Travis will guide you to explore the space within your body, mind and heart. This beautiful yin practice includes Child’s, Dragon, Sleeping Swan and Dragonfly pose.
Yin Yoga Stars
The Persian poet Rumi once said, “Do you make regular visits with yourself?” In this 30-minute yin practice, you will have the opportunity to step away from the demands of life, and make a powerful visit with yourself. Chances are your body has been asking you for some undivided attention. Travis will invite you to connect to intention, as you move through a series including Deer, Fire Log, Cat Pulling Its Tail pose and others. By the end of this practice you will be seeing stars of bliss.
