Summary note from The Guardian review:
"Buoyed by first-rate performances, this production transforms the Russian classic into an eye-
opening account of the Biafran war."
Summary from National Theatre
"Owerri, 1967, on the brink of the Biafran Civil War. Lolo, Nne Chukwu and Udo are grieving the
loss of their father. Months before, two ruthless military coups plunged the country into chaos.
Fuelled by foreign intervention, the conflict encroaches on their provincial village, and the
sisters long to return to their former home in Lagos.
Following his smash-hit Barber Shop Chronicles, Inua Ellams returns to the National Theatre
with this heartbreaking retelling, directed by Nadia Fall (Home, Dara)."

My notes
The summary says it all with the references to Barber Shop Chronicles etc. Barbershop Chronicles
is in this file share torrent group as well as Dara. I was also able to capture "Les Blancs" by
Lorraine Hansberry during the pandemic lock down showings provided by NTLive to YouTube.
Along with this work there is also in this collection a pro-shot version of Athol Fugard's "Master Harold And The Boys" performed at the Fugard theatre before it closed. I am still hoping that Fugard's "Sizwe Banzi Is Dead" will be performed in a new proshot production.
There is a help file to use the subtitle (SRT) file provided to add subtitles in additional
languages. There are many to choose from. But a dedicated subtitler can edit the words where the
online translator has failed to make a good choice. For these reasons I have not edited the acts
in order that the CC subtitles timing remain intact. CC or closed caption subtitles have printed
sounds (laughter, sound effects , music whatever sound is heard but not spoken.) In the subtitles
I have selected I do not know the accuracy.
This Three Sisters was available from an anonymous source not on torrents or my current
index. I'm grateful to those who do captures and this torrent will be another source.
NFO note
The NFO (info File) folder contains the rest of my torrent file shares. For access to the NFO
file in the folder, get Notepad++. Notepad++ also will open SRT files.
