| Hi @RavenLoon - FYI - If you ever see "HC" on a magnet/torrent line you may consider prior to downloading a file. "HC" stands for Hard Coded Chinese for example, and as you pointed out, "Hard Coded" subtitles, can't be removed or disabled from the current file, so whichever media player you use, those subs will still show up. Often times another file will be released depending on the movie, at hopefully some date right around the corner, and the "HC" will not show up! There are probably a handful or two of these "hard coded" one's, and I'm like you, will wait for another release, as the "foreign language" subs do act as a distraction. Hope that helps. I'd be guessing but there's probably a list out there that has all the "Hard Coded" codes and the languages they go too, if your heart desires. When I see the "H" as the first letter of a two digit code, it's a red flag for me, but I'm beating a dead horse on the topic! Hope this helped you or someone else out there that may have wondered! It seems that many are in "HC" that are out there but that's just my "take" on the subject.
I'm thankful for all the releases that TGx and all the hard work done by the encoders as @Guest-6700 here is above. We have people from around the globe, and that's awesome; they are guests/members, etc. of the site! :) |
