An alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.  | i quite enjoyed this when it came out. a groundhog day alien invasion that was always gonna be tricky to pull off, with tom cruise and emily blunt? i thought for sure hollywood was gonna throw in some really painful mismatched relationship and screw it all up, but they didnt :) personally i would have liked a more suspenseful ending, leaving an opening for more as the concept certainly has legs, but it was good enough |
