 | Thanks TGx for "Till Death", and apologies for not reviewing it when it first came out as watched it then, and thought it was exceptional, especially for the "genre". The A/V was the usual 5 stars or 10/10 and I still wonder how anyone comes up with 1/2 numbers or anything else, unless they have rabbit ears on their t.v. or something? Lol j/k Perhaps just grateful for what we have here at TG, and it's not that way everywhere. To elaborate further, perhaps its also appreciation from how content used to be from the old days, so thank you all so much, to the entire team, as I'm sure it's a ton of individual & collaborated work, and definitely not taken for granted! :)) The acting was great in "Till Death" and M=7.5 which is high for a horror, but could we call it a 'light' horror? Definitely for me beats the usual slasher types, and more in the realm of a quasi-suspense. The acting was superb, and well-casted with Megan Fox who played a great lead role, & when I first saw she was in it, thought it might be a "poor" movie, but was willing to sit it out because she was in it! Did think "slasher" type, but was pleasantly surprised because the movie was great. Think she did such a great job in this one, that she would be perfect for other leading roles, perhaps in "Revenge" type of roles. Ahhh, heck take another shot with a better script with Megan Fox as the lead in some "New and Much Improved" "I Spit om your Grave"!. Lol That's really taking it to the extreme!   Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts above, much appreciated & respected, and my apologies to @Cyberian, I always enjoy how you think and come across, however to analyze a movie to figure out "ideologies" behind it, but thank you for the depth, but my apologies would have my brain working overtime, my friend! | The plot is nothing new and, if you've watched the trailer you'll realize you've seen similar films. I will not spoil it for you. It is not going to win an oscar, but it really wasn't that bad. Megan was her lovely self and since the script was weak, I didn't expect a miracle, lol. You can tell they didn't spend a bunch on production, but it didn't matter because it's not that kind of movie. Great film to watch when you're a bit hung over and not wanting to think too hard. A/V = 7.5 Thanks for the share. |

The director was Michael Bay, one of the most powerful producers/directors in Hollywood after Lucas and Spielberg. His boss is Steven Spielberg, who executive produced all the Transformers movies (Bay is also a producer with the franchise). After Megan Fox' comment, Spielberg ordered Bay to fire her. Before Transformers, Megan Fox guested on TV series. She was a nobody. Transformers made her famous and rich. |
