Imagine the team that went on to create the TV show 'Archer' were 5 years younger and all living in a run-down house in southern California--where they couldn't afford to rent.. And from that primordial ooze.. Frisky Dingo was born.
Frisky Dingo was created by 70/30 Productions, the same group of animators who worked on Sealab 2021. The show's name during development was Whiskey Tango. Because a band was already using the name, it was changed to Whiskey Tango Six. This name was determined not to be sufficiently distinct to avoid infringement suits, so the creators jokingly said they would call the show Frisky Dingo, and the name remained. In episode 113, Killface can be seen entering "Frisky Dingo" into the Annihilatrix launch terminal; this is mentioned in the second episode of the second season, where Sinn/Hooper remarks that "Frisky Dingo" is the launch code for the Annihilatrix.
This download includes Season 1 and Season 2, all episodes painstaking restored to 2160p. Each frame has been redrawn using machine learning to achieve a tangible upgrade in fidelity, but still preserving the original art style, line weight and color correction of the 480p digital source material.
VLC Media Player is recommended for the most stable playback. VLC can be installed on Xbox and Playstation consoles to enable these consoles to play H265 content on a 4K TV. H265 is still very new and is not supported by most legacy devices.
