Thank you GalaxyRG Nice share.. Audio 8 Video 8 This is Not Anywhere Near in the Same League.. As Beneath Hill 60 This is the Low Budget Brit Version.. The Acting is OK & We Know the Story line.. Although Not Particularly Well Done Here.. This is Not Great by any Stretch of the Imagination.. But It's Watchable.. |
Try Using Google Guest-7921 However Seeing You Asked the Question.. Here's the Answer.. The Mine Galleries were Dug by the British 171st-175th & 250th Tunneling Companies.. And the 1st Canadian 3rd Canadian & 1st Australian Tunneling Companies.. Because There were Multiple Galleries Dug.. While the British 183rd -2nd Canadian & 2nd Australian Tunneling Companies Built Dugouts (Underground Shelters).. |
And both movies claim to be based on true events. ? So was it the brits tunneling or the Aussies ? or both. ? |
So this is just a cheap and lazy re-hash of Beneath Hill 60. Some script writer was having a bad day and just re-wrote the Aussie movie with the Brits, some movie exec who hadn't seen the Aussie movie thought it was a great idea and we ended up with this. Watchable YES, but you'd be better watching Beneath Hill 60 instead. |
Its actually nice to see a war film that doesnt show american heroes saving the world against huge odds. This is a low budget film, but is well watchable. |
@ Guest-1468 That's very true, bro. I always say that there is only one thing that trumps time - and that is money And like my grandaddy (RIP) would always say "health is wealth". So if you are healthy and got time you have it made And a few bags of $dollas$ would come in handy too |
