 | While the theatrical cut of Justice League (2017) was framed in a widescreen 1.85:1 aspect ratio, the Snyder cut is the first in the DCEU as well as one of the first mainstream films since the silent era to be framed in its native, full-aperture 4:3 format. This represents the original 35mm negative, originally intended by Zack Snyder and cinematographer Fabian Wagner. This also marks Snyder's first film not presented in a widescreen format, opting instead for Justice League having the same look and feel as watching a movie in IMAX. |
