It was so good was waiting for it 10/10 worth to watch , only movie cover BAD 😉 |
@Guest-9839 To be fair, it does say at the very beginning (maybe you missed it :| still searching for your picture house seat ;) ) 'THIS STORY IS TRUE..... EXPECT FOR EVERYTHING WE MADE UP' :D :-@ |
@ kentk9 You know what they say: "ALWAYS judge a movie by the cover" :D I was going to pass on this one too :D:-@ |
I was gonna pass on this until I read the comments above, so thanks people! Much better imho than the cover or plot synopsis would suggest. Please note: This looks like a documentary, but it's not. A/V was excellent, as usual. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you, GalaxyRG. 🥂 |
having listened to the book a couple of weeks before I can just say it ain't worth 2 hours of your time. As a movie its mediocre, as facts go its highly inaccurate with a few real details sprinkled here and there, the dialogues are bland and the whole thing feels rushed, very rushed. Its a 5/10 tv movie as someone said and its even worse if you know the story. Give the audiobook or the book a chance cuz its really interesting to know what mistakes dpr made, how he started and how different agencies competed to capture him,all using different ways and methods. |
Greetings again from the darkness :-@ If you know basic IT stuff such as Tor and what an IP address is you wont really learn much from this. Well, I did that that the DEA agent investigating Ross Ulbricht was crooked. A crooked DEA agent :D Really? :D Jason Clarke plays the crooked DEA agent Rick Bowden (he pronounces it as in bow and arrow)who is tasked with hunting down Ulbricht. I knew I had seen him somewhere before, had to look him up, yep Zero Dark Thirty and Everest. His performance in those were good and his performance in this is great too, makes it worth watching. There are some funny moments as Bowden attempts to get to grips with working one of those new-fangled things called a computer. He gets the best line: "Do I look like a vegetarian". It is Clarke's performance that lifts this up from your slightly above average TV movie fare :D:-@ |
very informative, had never heard of silk road until watching the film. Held my attention throughout! |
A must see film... if not just to understand what was what about the Silk Road!!! |
