| This movie is just like Mandy 2018 which was a massive load of horse manure. What happened to this guy? From making national treasure, gone in 60 seconds to making this repulsive shit. He too has bills to pay I guess like John Travolta who also made a retro movie few years ago. |

| John Travolta's career nose-dived after Grease. And it went completely down the pan with the disastrous Boy in the Bubble. He did kind of redeem himself with the superb The Trial of OJ Simpson, so maybe there is some hope left for Nic Cage :D He just need to find the right role :D |

| A main actor in a movie not uttering a single word has to be some kind of a first :D Non-speaking parts get paid a lot less, but that is usually limited to extras and bit-part players, not the main actor 8o If Nic Cage had uttered just a single word, just one word, his pay packet would have increased considerably B) :-@ I honestly couldn't believe 8o I was thinking 'has Nic Cage gone mute?  | Just finished it, so I'll dive right in with the positives. First, it's only 1 hour and 23 minutes. And Nic Cage never speaks. Oh yeah, you'll hear Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird at 1 hour and 18 minutes. His Chevy Camaro is bitchin'. Product placement must have been sponsored by GM. And finally, the stuffed animal kill scenes are kinda over-the-top and funny. From there I'm afraid it's all downhill and pretty much what you'd expect from Nic Cage these days but Nic has car payments to make and a bar-tab at Caesar's Palace in Vegas to pay. Rating this :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm cuz' I'm not really comfortable giving it any stars. A/V was great, as usual. If you throw some buttered popcorn into the microwave and drink lots of beer (or light up your bong) it's whacky enough to watch, but don't get your hopes up too high. Thanks, GalaxyRG. 🥂 |
