 | Howdy Galaxy! When I saw this go up a few days ago, I looked at the cover and read the description and then hesitated. It just looked boring, to be honest. Having just finished it, I can agree completely with Oink. This is a very good film and maybe even an Oscar contender, with a brilliant story and superb performances by a capable ensemble of actors. A few additional details: This is a Netflix production, and based on a true story. It's a slow burner, for sure. If you're looking for action, fancy stunts or impressive CGI, this is not for you. On the other hand, if you can appreciate a finely crafted period-drama and stick with it until the end, you will be pleasantly rewarded with a surprising and heart-warming conclusion. (I should have seen it coming but didn't) Even had me choked up a little; good movies will do that. Rated G. This is a flick the whole family can enjoy. Rating the movie ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5 on the TGx scale. Audio and video are excellent, as always. Thanks, GalaxyRG. |

 | A/V up to the usual excellent standards, and a faultless download; thank you so much GalaxyRG for all your efforts   A great movie that appeals on so many levels. There are so many sub-plots of grief, misplaced love, the pain of a child watching as his only surviving parent grows more ill, the righteous anger-inducing behavior of ivory-tower academics, dismissing those they see as "beneath them" (do I sound like I may have been there?  ), and how those not secured by their position can be forgotten by history. Acting is absolutely top-notch (the Brits are always great), even the kid (and I usually dislike child actors). Great movie for a family watch, though I suspect it's more appealing to an adult attention span. Thanks again GalaxyRG for all your efforts |
