 | Prince is/was the greatest of all time. Ive seen him live many times, the last time in 2015. I even met him and his then dancers Diamond and Pearl in 1990 in a club. The man had an almost biblical aura about him. Anyone thinking of looking up his back catalogue are in for a treat. The best album for me was The Rainbow Children closely followed by The Truth which was the only insight as to the real man Prince was (Don't Play Me). He was Prince 24/7 and never let his guard down in the public eye. This film and score is fantastic, the story is loosely based on some aspects of his early life. His faith ultimately took his life as being a Jehovah's Witness he would not have surgery to fix his hip resulting in him taking painkillers for decades. |
