| This has been stuck on CAM for what seems like ages so I thought what the hell life is too short to wait for a proper release :D This is a powerful, gripping movie, an acting tour de force from Olivia Coleman and Anthony Hopkins. The rest of the cast are ouststanding too. It it scary and terrifying because many of us will have encountered someone suffering with this condition; it is also what we fear becoming. Like when you forget where you put your car-keys and you get that momentary feeling of terror and confusion that you are 'losing it'; that this is the 'beginning of the end', well, this movie takes it to a whole new level. Many viewers will be familiar with many of the symptoms such as hiding items and accusing others of stealing them. If you walked into the theatre and weren't familiar with the subject matter you might mistake this for a Hitchcock-esque 'gas-lighting' movie. This movie is viewed from the perspective of the victim as he slowly loses his mind; it leaves you with a feeling of confusion, disorientation, distress and terror, just like the victim. One minor point do they have 'MDs' (medical doctors) in England? I am not going to knock off any points for the pesky adverts (one cuts in at around the 4 minute mark (when the movie stops) and another at around 48 minutes as well as watermarks and pop-up ads because that would be well, unfair :D and it is a CAM after all :D If you want an insight into your own possible terrifying future, or you just enjoy quality movies, this is recommended. :D:-@ |

| This is an excellent movie, riveting, the performances superb. Hardly took my eyes from the screen, don't know where the time went to. Cannot praise it enough. Exactly what my wifes mother went through. |
