Journey - Dream After Dream OST 1980
Dream, After Dream, performed by Journey, is the soundtrack album to the Japanese fantasy film Yume, Yume No Ato directed by Kenzo Takada. Released in 1980 on Columbia Records, it was their seventh album. The soundtrack firmly overshadowed the film itself, which enjoyed little fame. The album was an Escape back to their progressive rock beginnings and relying on complex musicianship and instrumentals. This was the last studio album to feature founding member Gregg Rolie. I liked the old Journey not the monster hit machine they became. Not saying I hated it some of the Steve Perry was good Infinity, Evolution, Departure, after these 3 It was too pop for me.
