| I've avoided watching this film, not for any particular reason, it just didn't feel like something I wanted to sit through. Purely by accident yesterday, I clicked on it in my movie folder and decided to give it a chance. It is an absolutely amazing film. The casting & acting are top notch. Riz Ahmed's performance especially, is as good as everything you've read. He is completely believable. The story, which is intertwined with the sound design to provide full immersion, is not designed as a tearjerker. You don't pity or feel sorry for the characters, instead, it takes you into a world that you probably walk past everyday, but never peek into. It will stay with you long after it's over. My rating, 4/5. A definitive Torrentgalaxy ShiningStar & not a BlackHole. :D |
