 | basically "social" "distancing" is a joke. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2763852 if people indoors want to prevent transmission of, in addition to contracting, SARS-CoV-2, then a properly fitted n95 mask (with goggles) is really the only way to go. these journalists who contracted it either did so through fomite contamination, or were wearing grossly insufficient and ineffective surgical masks (which only partially reduce the number of large droplets and aerosols that someone emits, and does near to nothing to prevent inhaling contaminated droplets and aerosols, and that first part is only if they aren't doing it like the chin diaper in the southpark coronavirus special). really, it's their fault. typical neoliberal/"liberal", just like "conservatives", shifting the blame away from taking responsibility for ineptness. and why don't those journalists wear real n95 masks? because they don't know how to 7 day cycle through them (to reuse them) or because they think the cloth ones or surgical masks are more comfortable or look "better". msnbc is so hysterical, it is like the republican propaganda outlets in reverse. pretty pathetic that the choices for tv news are msnbc/cnn or fox.. that miserable low information voter watching tv and reading dipshit social media online doesn't have a chance of sorting out "reality". don't these msnbc show hosts and cnn talking heads get tired of the ceaseless hysteria? what will they do when/if "biden" takes over? go into a catatonic trance of pure bliss? surgical masks only "work" if everyone is wearing them, since they don't protect the person wearing the mask at all whatsoever, they only protect others from that person wearing the surgical mask. anything less than almost universal surgical mask wearing is also akin to the joke that is the standard rules for social distancing. fact is that most uhmericans are dumbshits, shouldn't be a newsflash, hence that ain't gonna happen. so basically, uhmerika/most-of-the-world is collectively fucked until either A) vaccine or B) herd immunity, whichever happens first. what if trump actually "appears" to push a whole bunch of successful responses right to the run up to the 3rd? and durham drops? plus the courts. national polls are meaningless! all the swing states are well within the MOE and at best by 1 point, this is with one more month.. |
