this is what i call a good time b movie .. bad acting, bad effects, more humor then anything else and not humor from being funny but humor from bad acting and mistakes you see on film ,,,.. i see Asylum making a clear attempt on picking up where troma left off with failing results so far ..... but its still funny to watch and wonder how the hell is it actually this bad and it still got on film .... :facepalm |
Almost always watch the entire movie once I start it.Not this movie what a bunch of drivel.Bad acting bad everything |
Oh thanks just downloading this to see a ridiculous movie XD thanks for the up! ;) |
But Jaxe, can you really make your movie budget back(im not talking profits) in that way, relying on people who buy dvds to make that mistake? |
Cos there is always someone who will buy their products. Someone who doesn't pay attention and see one of their products with a similar title to the actual blockbuster and will buy it thinking they struck gold. They bought a DVD copy of the big movie while the big movie has just began its first run in the movie theaters. |
But Jaxe, can you really make your movie budget back(im not talking profits) in that way, relying on people who buy dvds to make that mistake? I think they may also sell them to some cable services maybe not in the USA but in other countries. They do keep the budget at $1 million and under on each feature. If they are not making any money, they wouldn't be still cranking them out several times a years. Some suckers are buying them. |
Another BS from Asylum, the studio that makes shit and use titles that sound like big blockbusters that are coming out in the hope people will get confuse and spend $ on their crap. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Asylum_films This one is for the new Top Gun movie that was originally scheduled for June 29th but pushed back to December because of the Coronavirus pandemic. |
It fascinates me that studios like this are still in operation. How does that work.Clearly no ones enjoys their films but they still pump it out? This goes against every normal business model out there?I understand how a studio like IFC can still be around because they produce quality A/B grade movies, but a studio like this?Makes 0 sense. This would seem to be a front company for some sort of activity. They need to produce movies, but no thought or effort goes into it and its merely a cheap clone(your cant even call it that) of a hollywood movie.Stinks. |
