 | many of the ignorant opinions about this police shooting in atlanta fail to understand what is at stake in a resisting arrest situation. resisting arrest through felony assault, plus attempted murder, was both, key both, met with lethal force. the reason these officers were arrested was because if they weren't atlanta would be completely irrationally burned to the ground with rioting. doubly irrational because of the pendulum swinging to far and gets to the root of why all sides of the political spectrum are once again failing spectacularly. a taser is used by police because it is seen as a less deadly form of threat suppression than a gun. tasers are extremely dangerous themselves and have the potential for being deadly. the problem with morons commenting in moral outrage about this incident saying the cops "shot him in the back" is that many people fail to realize when you fire a taser at an officer, after assaulting them to take it, that is a threat of lethal force. even without a taser, the reason resisting arrest very often leads to death is because if the officer doesn't/can't win in hand to hand conflict then inevitably that gives access to the assailant to a gun, and if that assailant is willing to resist rightful arrest by commiting assault on an officer, and then also additionally steal a taser and fire it at officers, "training" just assumes that deadly force is necessary for even much less, merely not following police instructions. next, the "woke police" will say why didn't they let him go? that simply places more officers in danger later on, perhaps after he is armed, and all because he wanted to be drunk while driving in violation of his parole and then fall asleep in a drive-through line? how out of it does one have to be for that? the person getting arrested did everything wrong, the cops followed protocol. legislatures are the node of failure. here is the full footage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O2IReqaYqw ignorance is rampant. trying to prevent irrational civil unrest, they also are overcharging these cops so that they can walk. everyone "wins". the stupid DAs look "tough", the unthinking mobs/media are appeased, and the cops will beat these charges since they were literally following police manuals and their training. different yet sort of related to this, at least with how these charges will go, https://medium.com/@gavrilodavid/why-derek-chauvin-may-get-off-his-murder-charge-2e2ad8d0911 |
