the problem with the "criminal" "justice" "system" isn't even scratched with all this and political "luminaries" interjecting. the problem includes race yet is much wider than only that. clearly the rage is an outlet for pressure being released, and other collective psychological issues, however it is counter-productive, but if the "system" refuses to change or offer effective ways to do so, this is what occurs. it couldn't be so draconian with race if it wasn't draconian in every way. problematic how the "system" goes about arrests. it isn't even remotely self-interested. just dumb. because an inebriated man drove and passed off forged bills, he deserves to be killed by cops in a state sanctioned "american history x" style? if there was no video of this it would just be another statistic and nobody would fret. four officers couldn't place him in the back of a squad car? it is ridiculous. so instead of that very easily doable thing, they allow one officer to goose-step knee lean and kill a man? why didn't they all four help place him in the back of a squad car? the disproportionate response to all non-violent crime is the problem! even more focused on by trump's predictable injection. if he wasn't allegedly drunk, and just passed off fake currency, then the "system" should have, in any sane world (which we don't live in) send cops to issue a ticket and fine and if left unpaid would put liens against him or anyone doing property crime. and the place of business would get its products back. the fundamental problem is that the "misdemeanor"/felony false duality that the idiotic draconian prosecutors and police departments operate under, "enforced" with an umbrella of venal laws passed by the spineless and incompetent legislatures, is riddled with fallacies in theory and even more so in "implementation". the entire framework for the "system" is literally based on archaic outmoded "thinking"... you can be on the side of the poor and marginalized without the tooth fairy or a way overrated "book" written by superstitious men wandering the desert thousands of years ago. same thing with healthcare. everything has to be conflated with cult group-think and an unconscious desire to proselytize. if only proselytizing basic common sense and atheistic free thinking could catch on like wild fire as much as all the ancient cults that prey upon people and still have zealous adherents because our fear-ridden and thoroughly illogical animal brains. |
