avatarobviously the sarcasm continues into that second sentence. for the dual reason that biden is a horrible candidate and is probably going to lose this election, counterintuitively the biden campaign adding a black woman to the ticket is not only bad for black women, and black women in politics, however it is also bad politically. knowing that, maybe this opinion is wrong and the biden campaign will indeed choose a black woman. however, still think they won't. the only reason that if they do we will all hear rosa parks a trillion times more is because this pandemic/the-fallout-of-economic-depression and its interplay amidst public health, immense tribal idiocy among the trumpites, and the noise of race relations that the "right" offers up as an excuse for over half a century of failed neoliberal policies.

avatarif these pathetic "protesters" are the "fox news nazi-confederate death cult rump of the republican party", as zirin states, then (sarcastically) biden should really get elected since that will upgrade them enormously from some "marginal" group within the republican party into a true zombie herd. only when astroturfing and hard-racism really goes more mainstream than it already is, then the neoliberal "left" will have finally succeeded in their mission. and precisely his next point is exactly that, the media thrives off of trump, even msnbc and cnn. at least that scumbag moonves admitted it instead of acting holier than though like the rest of the legacy/establishment media. infotainment on wheels for all! whatever is required to sell over-priced shitty medications, cellular/web products, or automobile insurance/automobiles. partially the trump creature was a mere inevitable byproduct of television news. amusingly zirin makes the point and joy concurs, yet trump lives off this stuff, and the media thrives over everything trump. conveniently ignoring his point then, full steam ahead. "woe is you" is absolutely right, basically the neoliberal biden campaign in a nutshell. just in time for bardella, who better to make all of the trailing points than the anthropomorphization of them himself. then he praises biden's ad on social media, further perfection illustrating the utter to the core bankruptcy of the political "order" in america, opportunist bardella's high praise of biden does really bring it all to the fore. he is the living epitome/example of the the utter fecklessness of both the entire republican and the vast part of the democratic party. even if almost all of his points are accurate he embodies the irksomeness of the football red/blue team false choice between republicans and establishment democrats which this global pandemic and election is highlighting in the extreme. at least joy refuted the guy claiming the these astroturfers want blacks to die, she is right that absolutely it is about everyone. the rosa parks thing absolutely "works", which is why they are doing it... if the biden campaign picks a black woman then then they really want to lose and expect to see rosa parks said about a triliion more times until november. seems like they won't though, that's why he made the supreme court pledge about a black woman. before the obama/biden shilling, the last panel did rock.

avatarhe is a really good rhetorician, just splendid. that's how he crushed and beat hillary in the 2008 primary, plus all his lies that he would change the corruption on wall street and a whole plethora of other leftist things he never followed through with. instead, he just surrounded himself with wall street scum of the earth and never bothered even using the bully-pulpit in significant ways, even though he is probably the best public speaker in the entire history of the "united" states. he didn't fight nearly adequately in public, and he didn't fight at all behind the scenes. he was and is merely well-spoken neoliberal complacency on wheels. he just smoked cigarettes with boehner (before he lost all power) and wasn't able to effectively politically maneuver. truly squandered eight years that led to this disaster that we have with trump that has only switched into high gear with this tragic global pandemic that is certainly going to trigger a global economic depression for years... obama ironically has bernie sanders' problem, he is a nice guy and gives good speeches yet can't effectively implement policies. sanders doesn't know the endgame of campaigning, and while obama had the benefit of knowing how to campaign and win those (because he gave such good purple mountain majesties speeches) he didn't know how not to be innocuous afterwards. obama was nice as an ornamental figurehead, and was probably marginally better than hillary for eight years. however the obama legacy will forever be trump and this ongoing slow moving trainwreck that will go on for yet another four years, because obama has also bestowed us that other beyond great rhetorician, utterly fluent and masterful composer of the english language, joe biden.
