Charlie's Angels, film diretto da Elizabeth Banks, è ispirata all'omonima serie TV degli anni '70 e vede protagoniste i nuovi angeli, ingaggiati dal misterioso Charles Townsend, e guidati dalla bionda Bosley (Elizabeth Banks). L'agenzia investigativa Townsend si è espansa a livello internazionale, ingaggiando come spie in tacchi a spillo le donne più intelligenti e impavide del mondo e formando diversi team di "Angeli". Un giorno si rivolge a loro un ingegnere informatico, Elena Houghlin (Naomi Scott), capo programmatore di una tecnologia in grado di rivoluzionario il settore energetico, ma che potrebbe diventare un'arma così pericolosa da mettere seriamente a rischio l'intero pianeta. Il delicato affare viene affidato a Bosley che incarica la maga dei travestimenti Sabina (Kristen Stewart) e l'ex MI6 Jane (Ella Balinska) di scendere in azione e recuperare l'arma prima che finisca nelle mani sbagliate. Viene arruolata per la missione anche la stessa Elena, presto addestrata al lavoro sul campo.
