was always critical of de blasio's style of politics from the beginning of his first term. however I must admit he is really generous to endorse and still believe that bernie can win, however doubtful that may be at this point. the right and police-state supporters will hate him to the end but on this primary he has proven to be a true ally of change and reform and he has a future in real progressive politics regardless of the smear campaigns and multi-tiered belligerence against him. he would be a good replacement to schumer if he ever retires, I don't know what else he could do in the public sector. the debates even though they are supposedly letting joe sit down may still break the biden delusion that the establishment along with the main stream media has managed to hoodwink the majority of low information democratic voters into thus far. biden seems cannot even form a coherent sentence let alone coherent ideas. in the general debates, trump, while an illiterate is a master con-artist, clearly the most functional one in the entire world at this point, and even if he himself cannot form coherent ideas, he can form words into basic forceful sentences for red meat for his base and to resonate and land with low information and swing voters. shows how deeply idiotic our culture is, the right chooses an apolitical illiterate inherited-money scam artist promoter and the left chooses a delusional corporate hack neoliberal shill in steep mental decline. meanwhile bernie is articulate, intelligent and able to form thoughts and sentences to go along with them, the only one of a kind in the senate. hence hillary's no one likes him, his best endorsement yet! who cares if the senate and house will never pass his proposals, again the fact is that his principles will equate to an indispensable value at the bully pulpit to reform culture, which is upstream from politics for the future, whereas biden has zero value there. biden is a bridge they say to the "future"? yeah, like a shaky about-to-collapse-bridge. for all these democratic voters who see bernie as like trump, that shows you how far the deep idiocy runs. biden is the one like trump in that he has always been a thoughtless sellout who is inarticulate and who also has dumb insults to anyone who questions him. biden is the real full of shit lying dog face pony soldier horse's ass, and of course the establishment democrats just think he is the greatest. as george carlin said, "this is the best we can do folk |
to be clear, if biden wins this primary it is very likely he will lose and be decimated by the republican personality cult in the general election. it is counter-intuitive based on the supremacy of bullshit however the sanders campaign at least has a refreshing form to contrast against the trumpian circus of bullshit. they have to start campaigning differently. maybe history can be made if another upturning of this primary miraculously occurs. seems unlikely yet until the fat lady sings maybe the sanders campaign can figure out some angle of attack, in the debate and otherwise, to landslide the establishment in these upcoming primary states. so far clearly their lukewarm strategy of "attack" up to and after south carolina isn't getting traction. bernie will be blamed for biden losing precisely as cowardly hillary blames him, so might as well try something different and be more aggressive. the biden campaign already today is conflating bernie with trump, so what is the sanders' campaign doing playing softball against serial loser biden? they better start throwing punches very soon. biden is the one with the bulk hoard of soft reluctant scared resignation voters, and bernie has the base that is energizing. as bannon says in american dharma, bernie could have won the 2016 primary, yet he refused to fight hillary. since this is his last chance hopefully he will reconsider in these fleeting last instances of opportunity. |
on second thought regional and local politicians's careers, especially of densely populated major cities, may be more screwed than "normal" because of however this pandemic may evolve. we will all see and are seeing how this global pandemic chart occurs. one of george carlin's best bits, and part of why biden will eventually devastatingly lose the battle of bullshit, here's a brief overview of bullshit, which seems to always win, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtK_YsVInw8 |
what a slow-moving shit-show disaster politics is. full piece: “Now, there's one thing you might have noticed I don't complain about: politicians. Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. Well, where do people think these politicians come from? They don't fall out of the sky. They don't pass through a membrane from another reality. They come from American parents and American families, American homes, American schools, American churches, American businesses and American universities, and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do folks. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out. If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you're going to get selfish, ignorant leaders. Term limits ain't going to do any good; you're just going to end up with a brand new bunch of selfish, ignorant Americans. So, maybe, maybe, maybe, it's not the politicians who suck. Maybe something else sucks around here... like, the public. Yeah, the public sucks. There's a nice campaign slogan for somebody: 'The Public Sucks. F*ck Hope.” |
