avatarthe sanders campaign can be steadfast with its principles while also evoking an acknowledgement of reality to voters that is the bottleneck of congress and the budget, deficit, and debt. they need to be aggressive and visionary, and attack with all might while at the same time appealing and reassuring the scared and indoctrinated mainstream democrat electorate. that is to say, in a negotiation where you start determines where you will end. biden is a centrist with no principles of real change. biden is also a demented nostalgia act, corn pop etc, which presumably the bulk of democrats in "power" and the befuddled, scared, and confused centrist democrat electorate flock to with the gentle guidance of the lame establishment media and its scurrying minions. all biden's endorsements are endorsements of statist sellouts bought and paid for by industry, political-social-climbing colleagues without any backbone. hell hillary saying nobody likes bernie is basically itself an endorsement of sorts. bernie's compaign is obviously the insurgent campaign of change, like trump in 2016 except actually authentic if impractical. bernie should use his critics' primary criticism as an elixir for the frightened electorate and at some level just admit his ideals are a heavy if not impossible lift, yet they are necessary and he will truly FIGHT. with reform there will be an evolution of the math, and to understand that if some of that is structural reform disclosing it precisely will not serve him in this primary or the general. polticians lie all the time in elections and never do what they promised. could not the opposite be better? that is be vague and then actually do something profound? elections are about EMOTION not math (RIP yang). so biden is clearly very intellectually and physically weak. bernie had a heart attack and is still a verklempt fighter while also being intellectually sharp as a tack. get a mrs vp and if he does give up the ghost early then all is well and doubly ceiling breaking. bernie is quasars upon quasars away more "likeable" than hillary. the fox news town-hall even applauded for him outrageously, the hosts were even astounded. the bully-pulpit is one of the president's greatest powers. however if you start with weakness like biden nothing is accomplished other than the status quo, and that is the equation that has already yielded trump, or worse, further regression. to take no risk is the greatest risk of all, and that seems to be the e

avatarand that seems to be the establishment democrats and their sheepish electorate's only playbook. bernie isn't going to be able to do everything he outlines, that isn't the point media bobbleheads and corporate newspaper "journalists". if he even gets a few percent of what he is saying then that is moving the ball forward more than biden and his endorsements could ever dream of. the point is to start with principles so you can mold and flex them and still accomplish something, not have no principles whatsoever so all your colleagues like you because you likewise have next to no principles precisely like them, harris and o'rourke, etc, which is how we are in this mess.
