Trama:
I Am Not Okay With This è una serie originale di Netflix creata da Jonathan Entwistle e Christy Hall basandosi sul fumetto omonimo di Charles Forsman. Prodotta da Shawn Levy, uno degli artefici della serie di successo Stranger Things, la dark comedy segue l'attrice di Sharp Objects Sophia Lillis nei panni Sydney, "una noiosa diciassettenne bianca", come lei stessa si definisce, che frequenta il liceo e si barcamena tra le sfide e le tribolazioni dello studio, della famiglia e del sesso. Ma Sydney deve fare i conti anche con i misteriosi super poteri che sta cominciando a manifestare, i quali sembrano esplodere come reazione alle sue emozioni più forti. Particolari capacità che si manifestano attraverso la telecinesi, complicano la sua vita più di quanto già non lo sia ma rendendola - forse per la prima volta - tutt'altro che ordinaria. Mentre lei può contare sul supporto del suo bizzarro migliore amico e vicino di casa, Stanley (Wyatt Oleff, It), più complicata è la sua amicizia con Dina (Sofia Bryant), a causa della maggiore estrosità di quest'ultima. Il resto del cast include Kathleen Rose Perkins (Episodes) nel ruolo di Maggie, la madre della protagonista; Aidan Wojtak-Hissong (Falling Water) di Liam, il fratello di 10 anni; e Richard Ellis di Brad, il fidanzato di Dina.
