Benvenuti a Camp Redwood. Il 7 novembre torna su FOX American Horror Story, con la stagione 9 in prima visione assoluta. AHS 1984 sarà un incredibile omaggio agli slasher movie degli anni '80, da Venerdì 13 a Nightmare, riportando in vita le atmosfere dei film che hanno fatto la storia del genere Horror.
American Horror Story: 1984 per la prima volta non vedrà la partecipazione di due dei suoi interpreti storici. Evan Peters non ci sarà, mentre Sarah Paulson comparirà probabilmente solo in un cameo, ma non farà parte del cast. Due fra gli attori più amati e talentuosi del "parco" recitativo che Murphy e Falchuk hanno reso famigliare ai loro telespettatori escono dai giochi, mentre una new entry assoluta fa il suo debutto.
Lo sciatore Gus Kenworthy, atleta seguitissimo e molto amato, farà il suo debutto assoluto come attore in 1984, mentre Mr. Jingles sarà interpretato da John Carroll Lynch (Fargo, The Founder), che aveva già vestito i terrificanti panni del clown Twisty nella serie.
Perfino il nome del terrificante psicopatico di turno in AHS 1984 è perfettamente in linea con lo stile 80’s slasher. Mr. Jingles (letteralmente "Il signor Tintinnio", in riferimento al rumore provocato dal mazzo di chiavi che si porta sempre dietro) ha tutte le carte in regola per ricordarci i suoi famosi predecessori.
Si tratta infatti di un pericoloso assassino, evaso dal manicomio in cui era rinchiuso per dare il via a un massacro nel campo estivo di Camp Redwood.
