![]() | Thank you miok ![]() This is exactly the field in which I work. We know that Lyme disease is caused by bacteria of the genus "Borrelia" (Burgdorfer, et al., 1982). Typified by the North American species "Borrelia burgdorferi". One of many facts that disprove Newby's ideas of a conspiracy is that the causative bacterium was later found to be living in the wild in 1896 (Marshall, et al., 1994) -- decades before Lyme was even identified, or scientists could possibly have worked on the bacterium.
