The Sovereign nations of Scotland & England started the formation of the United Kingdom back in 1707 when the two countries united to form GREAT BRITAIN. In theory that is the only Nation. Scotland and England should no longer exist.
Well that never happend and England has come to dominate the whole of the UK.
For example in the USA and Russia as well as China, often the UK is referred to as only England! The phrase 'Queen of England' is often heard around the World, when Elizabeth is in fact the queen of Great Britain and the United Kingdom, not England.
As England voted for leaving the EU and Brexit, The whole nation of Scotland and most of Northern Ireland voted to remain in Europe. Support for remaining in the EU is still growing in both.
Music however unites the Union of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but Brexit in any form will break that up. This is Scottish Music, sung in Scots Galic and as no setlist exists you will have to title the tracks on your own, but there are Jigs, Reels and Laments for you to enjoy.
