The Doobie Brothers are an American rock band from San Jose, California. The group has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. It has been active for five decades, with its greatest success in the 1970s.
The band's history can be roughly divided into three eras. From 1970 to 1975 it featured lead vocalist Tom Johnston and a mainstream rock and roll sound with elements of folk, country and R&B. I was roaming around on the hunt for content and I ran across some of The Doobie Brothers and it made me realize that I had not shared anything from them. So I got busy and hunted up just what was needed for this Deluxe set from them It starts in 1972 and rolls up to 1977. In 1976 Their electric-guitar-based rock and roll gave way to a more soft rock and blue-eyed soul sound.
