| You can search torrents on Torrent Galaxy in a few different ways. The search bar  At the top of the site you will find the search bar. Enter a word and while you type site will start showing suggestions.  You can click on one of the suggestions or click on "Show all results" to get a list of all suggestions.  You can also click or tab on "Search". You will be taken to a screen with all torrents that have the word in it.  Browse  Click or tab on "Browse" to go to the search page. On this page you will see all torrents from newest to oldest.  You can search on a specific word.  To search for torrents in a specific category you can click or tab on the category.  To search for torrents in a specific subcategory you can check the subcategory or sub-categories.  To search for specific languages choose a language in the menu above the search button.  Special search options Search of a torrent with the hash code is possible on Torrent Galaxy.  When you search on two or more words you will get all torrents with those words in the title, but not in the specific order.  To search torrents with words in a specific order you can use double quotes: "search words".  You can also exclude words from your search. Use the - for that.  Check this option to exclude XXX-torrents from your results:  To only display torrents that have a stream available, check this option.   Latest  Click or tab on "Latest" to see a list of the latest uploaded torrent. The list is sorted to category and will show you the 40 latest uploaded torrents in each category.  Searching all torrents of an uploader Go to the profile of an uploader and click or tab on "Torrents".  A list of all torrents uploaded by that uploader will show. Added to this thread: Special search options When you search on two or more words you will get all torrents with those words in the title, but not in the specific order. | Try using the browse feature. If you know the name of the file enter the title & search. If the uploader has upped the file his name will show up.  Hope this helps. | |

| If you mean this for say GalaxyRG do https://torrentgalaxy.to/profile/GalaxyRG then click torrents. You can either trawl through them manually or do Ctrl+f and enter the name, but that only checks the page your on. Last edited by eyez on 2023-02-11 14:35:57 | |

| Hi there, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask - but can searches be restricted to a single forum? I was trying to search the ebook request forum for an author, as I wanted to see if any their work was already there. Anyway I searched for an author I knew was in the thread, just to check searching by "Firstname Lastname" worked. And, got a heap of suggestions back, from a bunch of different forums. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a tricky way to restrict a search to a phrase in a single forum only? Sorry if this is an idiotic question  Thanks! | |

| The forum doesn't have a narrowed search function. If you want to know if an author has been uploaded I advise you to use the search function on here.. https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrents.php There are plenty of options to narrow down your search. | |

| I did a search for comedy movies. The search function automatically enables Bollywood and other sections like movie packs. It also includes results which aren't comedies per se. Is there no advanced search by genre that will also help filter out the false "positive" results? And is there a workaround where I can find the most up--to-date comedy (or genre) torrents out now, perhaps from another site? | |
