| Normally i used to use https://filehippo.com/ for all freeware/encoders etc to test... but for a few months now they seem to be infected with crap...?   I just tried to download the latest AVIDEMUX and some other stuff and they ALL end up being 1.7MB adware bundles...?   See image below...( the underlined bit is the givaway)  The ccleaner update was fine as that one took you to their site to download so was not infected etc.  ALL other downloads attempted from there for a few months now have all been 1.7MB adware bundles and game .exe's This is the MKVToolNix "installer" .exe below... https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/820e8dd4d66068c0e69f29f025f4a1ae55a4730d2b33c936eef36b639f66707c My end is clean...no malware etc. Is this the same for anyone else...? DO NOT RUN any of these...download and delete only if checking  Stay Safe folks.   | |
