so i wanted to upload an avatar image and it has a file path for the upload option, i dont get it.  
everything i enter does not work, even remote https links to a file.  
how work

how work
Upload your image to a legit image host such as:
https://picturegalaxy.org/
Then paste the link it gives you into the avatar box in your settings. That's all there is to it.
You don't want any bbcode or anything else. Just the bare link. It should start with https:// and ends with an image extension such as .jpg, .png of .gif
