| Ads are auto-redirecting to some other site. Had to fight the ads to be able to login. Ads to those that don't login are one thing, but auto-redirecting is simply not done. Please look into this, thanks | |

....goto the post above by miok that you upvoted....now hit upvote again...BINGOIt should not let you...it should put a  over the like box when hovered over if you have already upvoted....then as mentioned above...it does not affect anything....no added vote or name duplicated.2nd time i have reported this over time so the Staff know what it is....hence the brief note about it happening again...the context being that it's a known issue that has re-occured ...the Staff know about it and i was talking to the same Staff afterall Will that long-winded explaination to the short version i posted above do for precious...? | Hello there, in my torrents, the cover pic of many of my torrents (other than the ones that I have uploaded today) simply are missing. For many of the torrents, the img.bb link still works in the main torrent description, however the smaller cover picture is missing. Also on many of my torrents, the imgbb bb code was removed, which I have in the same spot in all of my torrents, which is rather strange. I edited the torrent to view it, and lo and behold, I had to re-add the bb code imgbb link for "The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy" so is this sort of site-wide glitch or was there some editing going on? I have checked imgbb and all of my images are all still there. | |

| It's not just you blackatk   ...appears to be affecting all uploads...After doin a bit of diggin...it's prolly linked to the site image host issue that has been popping up now and again recently... Covers are uploaded to the site image host....the ones in your descriptions are not...so they are not affected. It appears to have started roughly on the 9th Jan this year....and affected some covers from that date onwards...getting worse as time goes by... Until it affected all covers...the floaty images when hovering over torrents go missing and the side panels of torrents etc... | I am sorry but you are not making sense. IMDB link? I don't need to go to imdb.com or link it, what I am saying is MOST of the cover images for my torrents (mainly books) are missing, and that imgbb still hosts my images just fine, they are just not working here - on tgx. For older torrents, The pictures often load fine when I open the torrent, for some torrents the bbcode has been removed , and few newer torrents both images (i load the book cover twice in each torrent ) . For older torrents, alot of the bbcode as well as tgx's image link have been removed, and I am not sure why. It has broken the images for many of my torrents, and short of reloading the images for 300+ torrents, I was wanting to know if there was some sort of admin or mod action that might have affected the image issue. If you click on my uploads, you will see what I mean. https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/15880835/DK-Books-Megapack--blackatk- is the first torrent where i notied this issue. My newer torrents - such as: https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/15984427/Unrestricted-Warfare--China-amp--039-s-Master-Plan-to-Destroy-America--blackatk- and newer all work fine. From Dk books - and back - is where the issue starts. Meaning that it is a site-side change that happened within the last 2 months. An update maybe? Having the TGX system delete certain database values, well it "lost" all references to the image links that I place in my torrents... I had to re-insert the bbcode in the torrent description for the image to load on "Israel Lobby and US Foreign policy" -> as it was removed - not by me. https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/15833462/The-Israel-Lobby-and-U-S--Foreign-Policy--blackatk- proving that my image links still work fine. | oh thank you for the clarification. I am technically-minded I can say, and yes I am using imgbb as an image host not *imdb* - internet movie database (imdb.com) to be clear - and avoid confusion. However, yes i just answered on this topic, using my image host (imgbb.com) all of my cover images are working just fine, and i am aware that the cover photo for older torrents is no longer visible here. I am glad that i am not the only one affected, however I have backed up all images with triple-redundancy, and the cover image is also inside of each torrent I upload, by design - so that it can never fully be destroyed or be lost or go away. I was just wondering if there is a way to either reverse this, or perhaps to upload images with API access. If not I will have to manually go through and do all of this by hand - which is a real PITA. | |

....you can't have a decent Kebab without a nice bit of PITA Jokin aside.... I suspect that any images removed from your description may have been removed due to sizing...? The one you linked above measures 931px x 1389px....which fills your whole screen so you have to scroll down just to see all of it The site image host has to re-size this image to 773px x 1153.27 to scale it to fit the description box Some uploaders grab any size images or try to link them to other torrent sites, or their own...point being they might be causing an issue due to size...?...or the site having to re-size them first...? As for your other question....YES you can request API access... Goto your profile page and hit the setting tab....then request API key access...(see below)  (please note that i am a Trusted Uploader so the API feature may not be visible to Verified/Trial Uploaders) Hope this helps blackatk | |

| It seems there is currently a bug with long torrent names and magnet links on TGx. In tables the torrent name gets cut off after 90 characters which is fine. But somehow these shortened names now also get used in magnet links where it makes no sense to cut off the name (and add "..."). This leads to problems with software that gets the torrent name with details from the magnet link. I hope its possible to add back the full torrent name in magnet links. Downloaded torrent files still have the full name. | |
