| Thanks to Tinous, Peanuts, BB, Pawpcorn and LarMer, As some of you know, I voluntarily 'filled in' for Pawpcorn while he was "offline for about 8 days." I uploaded copies of the 6 MSNBC shows that he usually posts via torrents (Morning Joe, Deadline: White House, MTP Daily, The Beat, Hardball, and AM Joy) as well as many other shows. Since I began on May 7th, some 2-1/2 weeks ago, I have literally uploaded to Yandex and pCloud folders a whopping 75 GB of shows, including virtually the entire M-F MSNBC lineup, from 5 am to 12 midnight. Why? I had an intuitive feeling that amongst these shows was important information that would otherwise be lost. Many copies of the daytime shows were posted by users on youtube, and in less than 24 hours, most of these recordings get removed. Unfortunately it has been a lot of work for just one person, time consuming and tiring, so time consuming that I didn't even have enough time to watch the shows that I was usually watching. However, today was the payoff, and I hit paydirt. I watched these two items: The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell (2019.05.23) - Hand-Off 3:21 gs: Rachel Maddow The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell (2019.05.23) 43:21 gs: Rep. David Cicilline; Ezra Klein; fmr Gov. Bill Weld; George F. Will Some of you may remember that on KAT2 on September 15, 2018, I made some predictions, including this one: > 3. In the upcoming mid-term elections, Democrats will win the most seats > for the U.S. House of Representatives. That one came true, with the Dems netting a record gain of 40 seats. However, what I did not foresee was "The Barr Effect." Trump had forced AG Jeff Sessions to resign. Trump appointed Matt Whitaker as Acting AG, then Bill Barr as AG. Matt Schlapp, political commentator who had worked in the George W. Bush administration, and was head of the American Conservative Union, and whose wife Mercedes is Trump's Director of Strategic Communications, made a startling and disturbing prediction on Twitter. On a show, which I watched back in Feb. and saved, Schlapp was interviewed on The Beat. The Beat with Ari Melber (2019.02.19) 43:52 gs: Maya Wiley, Bill Kristol, Michael Steele; fmr Gov. Ed Rendell, Juanita Tolliver; William Tong; Matt Schlapp; Jill Wine-Banks In the show, Ari reads from Schlapp's message: "Mueller will be gone soon... There will be a rather immediate Barr Effect on DOJ, FBI, and Mueller... If no evidence of collusion demonstrated to AG, then it will come to an end soon." Matt Schlapp via Twitter Frequent Ari guest and former prosecutor John Flannery has oft expressed skepticism that something happened regarding the shutdown of the Mueller investigation. I had agreed completely. Last night, Lawrence interviewed fmr Gov. Bill Weld, who is also a Harvard Law School graduate, fmr U.S. Attorney and fmr Justice Dept. official, who explained that Bob Mueller had been his deputy in the U.S. Attorney's office in Boston. He made this startling comment: "I think what's going on here, Bob [Mueller] is so straight that he doesn't necessarily want to say how the process has been perverted, and my reading of what happened behind closed doors, Bob Mueller's report says we decided not to make a traditional prosecutive judgment because we really couldn't -- translation, Bill Barr told me that he was gonna squash any indictment I tried to bring against the President for obstruction. That's a dirty story. Bob Mueller doesn't want to have to tell that, on TV. And I think that's exactly what's going on here." -- fmr Gov. | Thanks to BB, As some of you may know, quite some time ago, Bearwolf (Furrbear) asked for help with capturing the MLs, and BB agreed to do so. This task was only supposed to be for a few weeks but it soon became indefinite. I tinkered with how to do it enough to know that getting the hang of it isn't the easiest thing in the world. BB has been doing it day in and day out for quite some time, picked a good, completely separate host (pCloud) to hold the links, and provides helpful comments to his teammates, e.g., Pawpcorn and LarMer. BB also provided helpful insight into inherent contempt. Without the ongoing MLs, there would be no shows based on them. | Thanks to Pawpcorn and LarMer, They have provided a steady stream of shows via torrents, as well as useful segment and guest information, that can help users prioritize their viewing. LarMer has posted the MSNBC late night shows, All In, Rachel Maddow, The Last Word and The 11th Hour. Pawpcorn has posted the earlier shows, Morning Joe, Deadline: White House, MTP Daily and Hardball, as well as the weekend show, AM Joy. However, he also posts many additional shows, his own encodes of Morning Joe First Look, and most of the CNN primetime lineup, including Anderson Cooper 360, Cuomo Prime Time and CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. He often also does the first hour of New Day, an early morning show. He's also done one episode of Saturday Night Politics with Donny Deutsch, and a number of episodes of Kasie DC. From time to time, he also posts Fox's single real news program, Shepard Smith Reporting. Recently he also posted compilations of all the show segments for two shows, Morning Joe (which airs for 3 hours) and last night's so far missing episode of The Beat. Additionally, he also posts useful information, ebooks, audiobooks and an occasional film, including Active Measures (2018), which I found invaluable. He's already committed so many crimes, with Barr enabling him (the titular head of law enforcement), he's not worried about committing more crimes; whatever it takes, he will do it, or at least 'die' trying. Before Hitler attacked Poland, look at how many people he murdered in Germany; a lot of the changes were somewhat gradual, and Trump is following a similar playbook. He is conditioning his supporters and the GOP to accept virtually anything as 'true' and 'proper.' What happens when Democratic and law enforcement leaders start to get imprisoned on bogus charges? What happens when appeals of congressional subpoenas are finalized and the courts order him to comply? Will he, or will he declare an 'emergency' and impose 'martial law'? Remember, a wounded predatory animal, with real strength, is at its most dangerous state. The debate amongst House Democrats over whether to pursue impeachment has valid points on both sides, but I don't think the leadership really understands the potential grave risks, now that Trump no longer has the House GOP leadership protecting him. Trump may not read or be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he has been learning how to more effectively protect himself, such as getting a hatchet man like Barr. Trump is NOT a normal person, he has serious sociopathic tendencies, so he lacks sufficient internal constraints that would stop normal presidents. Trump is much more akin to Hitler, Putin, and Saudi crown prince MBS who had Khashoggi not only murdered but dismembered with a bone saw. Trump is more benign now, but under sustained pressure he is very likely to turn further and further to a very dark side, where he will rationalize almost anything evil as completely justified.
