| Ok So first thx for the help already given. Totally understand how to change a folder and have been doing so with major enthusiasm. Sort of understanding the .ini part in making that folder sty permanent but still in the process of finding a dumber version for me to understand. What I truly would love to be able to do is this...... Taking a folder that I have changed with the movie in it adding it to my external drive (that's the easy part).................. How do I then make that folder with the .ico picture of the movie able to be viewed on my tv/bluray player when I plug my external drive into them?? I can see the folder but there is no picture on it, when I click the folder it opens there's the movie ....click back it shows the folder but the .ico picture is gone. Hope that made sense. Thank you | |

| You are most welcome and Good to hear from you again my friend.. was wondering how you were doing :) I think i understand what you mean (but to be honest with you, I'm not good at this technical stuff). To me it seems that the problem can be the communication between your Tv and Drive.. I mean, your tv not being able to read/recognize the file extention of the folder you have choosen, but it works fine in your computer/drive, right? Am I on the right path? Anyone can help our friend here please? Shouldn't a Smart TV be able to recognize the folder .ico (Don't have a clue since i have never tried it) :) Wish i could do better for you .. So sorry, but i am sure there are good few staff/members here that help. Good to hear from you again, and best of luck :) | |

| Hi ,tried it on my set as you said the folder has pics.played a file & when I stopped it went back to the folder & pics showed up.Was using chromecast fed to my set.Don't know if this is what you are talking about but tried for you. | |

| Thank You very much hon' appreciate it :) <3 You have your TV connected to your PC, right? For this is the setup i have and haven't had any problem so far. Got 3 monitors, Torrents to the left, TV/Movies to the right and the rest in the middle and the middle is the Main monitor.  This setup only works when your external drive is conected to the pc, but if you want to take it to a friend and watch movie there that's another story unless he has his TV connected to pc :) Hope this helps.. keep us informed my friend :) Last edited by FrostyBolloX on 2019-02-18 23:16:59 | |
