| How do you deal with hit and runs on a public tracker? I honestly don't know what to do, when I upload a 60GB file, I usually send around 1TB of it within a first few hours, and still it's only like 5 seeders left. If you are familiar with the hosting business, 1TB doesn't come free, most ISPs will place limits on bandwidth. Most seedbox providers offer upto 10TB/month limit, I don't use the common ones. Still to get like, pure 1gbit (300TB/mo) bandwidth but it simply doesn't make sense for torrenting, the cost is around $100/mo. For a week of upload on TGx, I have around 50TB upload sent. That is far beyond the "fair use" of my server at my ISP. /mods move it to the correct forum topic, I can't create my own threads. | |
