Yep galaxy should be free, but let me clarify....torrents are absolutely free in the mentioned concept of BTT ...they only charge for faster speed downloads and still allowing you to earn by seeding the same or any other torrent or your own content... also they let you earn BTT by reserving some  free space on your storage system...thereby reducing resources needed by the site.
In other words they are encouraging:
1) High speed connection (as bandwidth is getting cheap and fast).
2) Encouraging to upload quality content with high demand.....resulting users adopting for high speed downloads(spending BTT) and uploads (more seeding results in earning BTT).
3) Allowing more space also lets you earn.
4) I guess ...they earn by transaction charges on the blockchain.

Overall their torrenting concept is free with coin incorporated.Guess I need to look at their whitepaper for clarification with details as i am sure there will be some catch in it.

Application holt,

I am regrettably going to go on hiatus due to the new DMCA law passing,
i am shutting down all my platforms and building a new pc with the extra funds i send to all my fees from seedboxes to hosting & domains, this is not permanent i just want to see what happens in the upcoming future, i will be back in 1-2 months time, i will however stop on the site time from time.

Update: Beast is still down; out of curiosity, encoded Zack Snyders Justice League (2021) 1080p 5.1 - 2.0 x264 Phun Psyz  on a laptop using settings I could remember from my custom mix.  It took over 14 hours to encode this 4 hr, 1080p movie ... probably wont try any 4ks on Lappie.

Failure of the Beast:  most of what can be seen points back to the power supply

If you are accustomed with my latest 1080p encodes, please let me know if you notice any differences with JL DC.

yeah, so I did encode this 4k They Live 1988 2160p HDR 5 1 x265 10bit Phun Psyz on Lappie; only took 3 days for a 94 min movie (some guess work on the settings) and now the fan whines if it decides to spin at all

not much progress made on repairing the beast, so it may be a little while until the next upload

I am going now for a break due to unable to keep up with all the tasks and businesses that I have. Might be returning to the public torrent world once everything settled, especially my sources which is at the moment completely chaotic.
In the meantime I would like to request to revoke my uploader rights.
I keep everything in seed that I currently have till 2021-04-01 when my seedbox expires.
