is there any chance we can get the Galaxy Checkpoint to load with something other than a white background.

every time I reload a page after like 20-30 minutes I get me retinas fried.

Better yet, is there some way to kill Checkpoint completely?  I am unable to switch between ANY TWO PAGES without seeing it count down at least 3~5 times and the ONLY way to make it on to my next page is to keep refreshing Checkpoint until it loads the page I set out for.  Checkpoint regularly turns a 30 minute session of checking for latest shows and episodes into a multi-hour traffic jam.  Frankly, I see no benefit to having it and would advocate loudly for its complete removal.  If it's some sort of connection checker, why not just issue a session token to active accounts that expires after "X" minutes of non-activity and must be renewed.  I leave TGx running 24/7 and a reconnect-acquire ID token would be seriously less hassle than all the time wasting  trying to simply check for most recent episodes.  Honestly, TGX is intended to be my main go-to site but no other site I use gives me this bullshit.

Im here every day, use no special scripts or tools, blockers. With or without a vpn, I get the checkpoint when I log in....easily defeated by hitting 'refresh' at its point of loading.....and thats it. Period.

I download, post in the forums, play in the arcade, Chat......never get the Checkpoint like you are claiming you do.
This 'bullshit' as you call it, is part of our site, aint going away, and is not a big deal in the first place.

TGx is and will always be, the best site. I will advocate loudly and defend that fact, all day, every day.

Took me over 15 minutes of refreshing Checkpoint just to get to the Forums and two more tries just to get into this discussion.  That's not a feature, it's more red flags than a North Korean parade.  This site is broken.  I've suggested having the system issue tokens to registered users when they're logged in to bypass Checkpoint and that's gone uncommented by responsible parties.  Clearly immediate changes are necessary.

Usability is at a low.  It is running, but it isn't arriving.

I only get the the checkpoint when I filter a previous search, and it's not Everytime.

Perhaps it's your VPN if your using one. You could try simple things like a different browser, changing VPN protocol & location. Clearing browsers cache regularly can also help. Cross each one off and then try again you'll work out what's been causing it. Start with location, protocol, browser then cache.

There's many things you could try, if it's only happening to a small number and not everyone it's usually something on their end and fixable with changes.

The Forums are different to the Torrent section....so you hardly, if ever, see Checkpoint Charlie when using the forums....so chat/forums/arcade are not affected by Charlie.
Torrent section is different and Charlie pops up when you click on most things:_facepalm
EASIEST way to not have it affect you is to right click on EVERYTHING you want to view/download/comment on etc on Torrent section and "OPEN IN NEW TAB":_:-*:_:-*....then just leave that tab with Charlie trapped in it and carry on in your original tab until Charlie foooks off:_party:_pirate
When your done looking for stuff you should have a nice list of loaded tabs WITHOUT any Charlies hanging about:_party
Not a fix...just a solution:_B)

Not sure if you know about this but i just uploaded a torrent and added screenshots but wouldn't show me a preview before uploading. After uploading i checked and it is not showing any metadata or screenshots.

That is probably because of broken/misplaced bbcoding in your description raebie2:_trial_uploader:
It won't show in preview or when posted if any bbcoding is broken/misplaced...just blank space:_eyes
Best thing to do is post the entire bbcoding in this thread, even if it doesn't show here, and it can be seen by staff and fixed if so.:_party:_pirate
