...also torrent pages load very quickly with zero checkpoints or el fenco's
...zero comments, ratings etc also add to page load speeds

I've never seen so many people who actively refuse to read the previous page of postings on a forum, and all of them telling you the same thing or complaining about something being broken that (if you read one...ONE page of posts) we all know is broken. Has no one ever used a message board before? Seems like it'd be second nature to look at the post made 10 minutes before yours and realize it's asking/stating the exact same thing.

TGx SysAdmins, thank you for continuing to work on the issues with the site, and we will ALL survive until you finish the maintenance. However, I will admit— you Mods/Admins miiiiiiight have a better time of it if you were to sticky a post with the current date, and be transparent in letting everyone know what's going on with the maintenance schedule/tasks and estimated time of completion. I think a lot of people are still kind of offended about the needlessly cryptic Deadpool/Wolverine Meme that was dumped on the main pages recently with little explanation or minimal expectation of return, and it this might be pressing those same "loss of goodwill" buttons on people. Not to say we're "owed anything", as no one here gets paid and maintenance is done by people who volunteer their time— BUT, even volunteer organizations try to stay transparent with their members and are at least open with timetables and schedules, even if they're only estimates.

Anyway, thanks for the hard work in the site Admins/Mods, and as for everyone else: Chill. They might be able to get more work done on the site if they weren't coming back here answering the same gripe/whine/question for the 1,746th time. Read the thread— that's what it is here for.

I agree, Brother Hash! But I can say (with some certainty) our great Mods & Admins are wondering much the same as we are about time frames. I'm also certain if they had that info, they would let members know. The light at the end of the tunnel could be the hater comment swamp might drain some as they get tired of not being able to post their idiocracy! Wouldn't that be GRAND???
